Post by Thommo »

As requested by Stewart
Len Vodic's 53 Chev Custom.

Len originaly bought this as a 2door convertable which someone else
had hacked the roof off and welded the rear doors.

Since it has come into his possession, len has lenghtened the doors 6 1/2",
added a 52 Chev roof Chopped 4 1/2" in the front & 6 1/2" at the rear with matching window frames on the doors.
The trouble has been taken to retain wind-up rear side glass.
The door handles have been removed, and homemade pushbutton arrangement is used for access.

The front recieved frenched 53 &*#@ headlights
Badges removed, smoothed grille surround with custom floating bar.

The rear has also been smoothed over, with homemade taillight lenses
recessed into the bodywork.

The spatts on the rear are also homemade, while the front recieved 55 caddy hubcaps

At the moment it runs a straight six, but this will change in the next couple of weeks.
Its about to recieve a H/TGK frontend and smallblock Chev so it also sounds the part.

Enjoy 8)

He has done a super nice job on this Chevy.

The car in the Cobra movie was a 49 50 &*#@ Mercury

I wouldnt tell a Chevy owner that his car reminded you of a &*#@.
