Post by choppedfan »

Hi all,

Am looking for a finned twin breather rocker cover for a grey motor,

Cash, or I have grey motor bits to swap, or cash and parts what ever you want

There's a few manufacturers that make side-mount breathers that you can add to a rocker cover.

Here's a couple of Edelbrock ones.

I think most people would probably buy a WEY or Speco rocker cover, put a plug over the existing breather, and add something like this to the side.

These guys have different alloy covers for sale:

Personally, I'd go the WEY, get a plug machined up, and add two of the Edelbrock breathers to the side. You'll end up with something that looks like this one

Never seen one of those, not that that means much.

I'm keen to know what they look like now. Any idea who made them?

Sorry, not mine. Just a random pic so that people know what you're looking for :(

Did just find a complete Strata turbo kit for sale for another forum member though.

He'd better be quick, or I'm having it myself

Have you thought about just calling Frank Kleinig at his workshop in Mulgrave and asking him directly?

I think this is Frank Jnr, son of the original Frank.

The number is (02) 4577 7221.

He might know where to get hold of some original gear. Who knows what he might have stashed away at the back of the family shed :)
