bodies and sub frames all sold over the weekend
thanks for all the intrest , it was brought as a bulk lot like i wanted a bloke from up the coast pickd it all up in two trips .

Hey guys just picked up the new Ek from McKay it's amazing . I'll post Se pictures this weekend.quick one though I noticed that there are no holes any were for seat belts??????

Will I need to fit for rego if not currently having them installed .i have a full set of seat belts but would be cool to have none

Pretty sure if they weren't fitted originally, there is no need. It may depend on state laws though

It's your car and your life and all , but why the hell would you not want to run seat belts ????
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

We don't understand why anyone wouldn't install seatbelts mate that's all.

I guess some people think that FB/EKs are not too safe to drive without seatbelts. Other people think that seatbelts are unneccesary, or detract from a vehicles authenticity.Lo_maz wrote:What is that suppose to mean Wayne
Everyone has their own opinion. Personally, I grew up without belts. I did however get used to them over the last few decades. When I bought the FB, I tried it for a few months with no belts. The kids thought it was fun, but I couldn't stand it so I fitted some.
Each to their own I guess.

my EK has never had them fitted ever , but i cut a slot key hole style in the rear wall of the piilars top & bottom & inserted theaded mounting plates for enertia reels then welded them in . just thought i,d share . nev

in fact i used Fusor panel adheasive & clamped it there over night with a bolt & large washer , Fusor is what we use instead of welding large panels like van turrets its NASA designed & used on the space shuttle , NEV
