Warneford twin carb manifold - wanted

Post by sooops »

Chasing a Warneford twin carby manifold to suit grey motor. I'm after the type that bolts on to the original manifold hot box.

The one's in this thread Ian, never had success with them, went fast but used shit loads of fuel.

Thanks for the info Wayne. I appreciate that twin Stromburgs aren't the best for fuel economy, but I require this specific type. I believe Warneford was the only one that made the hotbox type. I stand corrected if anyone else can elaborate?

Monaro Motors and Gibson also made hotbox-connecting grey twin Strommie manifolds.

They turn up regularly on EBay but not when you want one - Murphy's Law. The ones that do turn up don't have the hot box attachment, I've already got several of those type. I'll just keep looking........
