Right on the buzzer smooth , I need to find a pace !
60 hours of hard slog each week leaves very little spare time or energy "at the moment" .
Havent lost any interest ,just energy .

But overall give me a year to finish it now

7 days of work 2 weeks ago took 7 days .
Now 7 days will take 10 weeks with interuptions to my sunday.

Sorry ! I want more progress too !

I have the same problem

Sometimes spending six or seven days a week working on customers cars.

And when I do have a day off there are all the things at home I have not done.

I have one project for myself, that I want and need to finish but the few hours I get every now and then seem to make very little progress.

Will keep looking in to see how it is going

I know EXACTLY what you mean about loosing the energy, but not the dream. I am just getting over a 9 month loss of all energy and focus.

This work from the original idea to this so far looks amazing! You have good eyes and hands. Awesome work, Very impressive mate!
If your anything like me you can't wait to see it when it finaly looks like exactly how you imagined it in your head. Nobody else but the person who had the dream gets to feel that amazing twinge up ur spine when they finaly see before them what they could only see when the closed their eyes. Someitmes you just stand there and look at it for a few minuites, as if it was allready completed and think to yourself, "damm this looks cool!"
Then you see how much more you have to do. *sigh* Crack open another beer and get to work.

The outside i can see you already know what its going to be like...But how far has ur imagination gone with how the interior will look? be?
There is always that close tie between how the outside looks to the interior, and then have to both match and compliment eachother. Interested to hear what u have in mind.

Ill definately keep a close eye on this thread mate. Great to see how it unfolds. (edit: Content removed) not chopping the wagon. (OMG how hard would the back side window glass be to get if i chopped it! no no, dont even think that Paul.)

Take your time, No need to rush. And we will all be hear waiting on the edge of our seats to see the next installment of piccys.

The rear side glass in a chopped wagon is a no brainer.

Its that easy most people dont work it out

Good on ya Redgold 79 , Let me start by saying I reckon driving your trans am would be so cool in this day of mundane clone cars and this age of fuel concious motorists - your outside the square and I like you already

My mum drove a trans for years , Yeah she is pretty cool hehe .

K my imagination for the intertior would be loosely based on early 60s Hot Rod styling ,
Dash - a mirrored hump on the left ,gold like the roof to the trim line ,pearl white below that .
Trim - flaked like dodgem cars prob in silver .
Pearl EK steer wheel with chrome centre dome
Bullet knobs.
Centre console from Lynchpins wagon.
and I like red carpet but I have no idea how I can tie it in

Mate great to hear your thoughts also

Smooth - dont tell me ,dont tell me hehe let me try to work it out over the next day or so .
Its not just heat the glass over a curve and let it flop is it ?

Its easier to to cut, shape and weld metal than reshape glass.

I wish glass shaping was that easy, well it is if you have the facilities to do it
