Done the goo with the ute , bloody thing won't change gears , so have not been near it , been wasting my time on another old Holden of sorts .

Finally removed the digit out of the poofoo valve.
Even took the hubcaps to work and cleaned them up. Probably wont use them so I suppose I have 4 spares for the Sedan

I still had the other side to do Tim. But, it's done now. Roof is all good.
Got the urge again now so flat out into the old girl.

For someone that wasn't going to do any backyarding anymore I seem to be "helping a few people out".
Bloke across the road has a LH and wanted flares painted, roof and Bonnet redone too. Silly me said ok when he asked.
Then I settled for a slab for doing it.

Mate that gave me a fair bit of stuff for my sedan got a respray on his XM. (was a good deal for me too though)

I have the wagon to do, the couch seat out of the old wagon to do, still have renos around the house.

I need 36 hour days and 10 day weeks.

i had a neighbour ask about painting (mind you in 5 or 6 years it was the first time he had spoken (which is ok with me ) ) my answer was i'm not good enough to charge and there's no way i like doing it enough not to charge

I been sucked in to several love jobs over the years. It usually goes like this a mate turns up that you havent seen for a while.
Hangs around a fair bit over a few months. On some of the days he visits and you are working on something he spends five minutes helping you. The rest of the time he is talking. He goes home to wife and says he has been working at my place. Next minute you are painting their car. Once car is done you are lucky to see them once a year.
I pay everyone who helps me now.
I do have a few friends who still get away with it but I know it works out fair for both parties in the long run.

Getting back into the old boy and started cleaning underneath again. I just cant believe how good the floor is under whatever it is sprayed all over it. (Like bloody tar)
Even the sill panels are in bloody good nick.

yeah I think i'de have seen how good it looked and just covered up what i'de scraped off and have left it
