Got to hand it to you Mal your one sick modifier!
I thought the tank may give you dramas with the pipe clearance!
Hope you closed your eyes when cutting and welding the tank.
Does the diff yolk run in the center of the tailshaft tunnel?
I had 2 goes at this cause I was stupid and assumed the tunnel was in the center of the car but it isnt is it
Your progress is wild and I dare say you have a lot more patience than I have.
Regards Greg

Hey all,
Captainbill the system is close, but I have made sure it
won't hit anywhere as theres nothing worse than a banging
exhaust under the car.
Greg,
The tunnel is pretty close to the center of the yoke so hopefully
there wont be any problems there. The tank was a bit of a worry,
but no BANG! so all good. It was funny though, when I was checking
it for leaks I pressurised it with about 6psi to check. After a short
time I looked at it and it was growing in size.
After quickly
letting the air out it came back to size but now I reacon I could
get a couple more litres in it now.
Anyway while I was working on the front guard repair I thought
I'd throw in a recess for the electric aerial.
Just for a bit
of custom work.
Didn't want the car to look to plain.

Just thought I'd add a bit of bling to the aerial hole.
I did this in an old FJ I had years ago and it looked pretty trick,
so I thought I'd try it again.
The trim is made out of exhaust tube that fits inside the tube
used for the aerial insert. Fitted into the hole and marked
around to give the curve, then cut to shape and a flat plate
welded to the top. Then trimmed out to suit. Finished product
looks good and fits perfect. Just has to be sent away to get
chromed now.
