Hi Steve, you previously asked about the sticker on the back of my wagon, and yours.
Finally found some old photos, similar but probably not the same.
Mine was a whale diving into the water. Strange that they looked so much alike.
Some sort of environmental/peace lifestyle thing .Image

Wonder if anyone knows anything else about the history. I heard that mine was used as a business vehicle....Image

Good bit of progress over the weekend.
1. rear leaf spring mount straightened
2. Main frame and some bracing installed, getting ready for the big cut!
Got some cutting discs Friday night, ran out of welding wire Saturday arvo. Got some welding wire Sunday morning then ran out of steel section. :ughh:
brace between B pillar in, brace at top of A pillar in, but need another leg down to the frame. Show day Wednesday, so will go on the hunt for more steel then. I'll get some photos on Wednesday

I tried to do a bit or fill weld on an indent in the C-pillar, but it was mainly keep blowing holes through the steel. I had the amps on the low setting, is it because the steel is too thin? I tried th feed to be fast and slow but it did the same thing.

not really, you just have to put little dabs (wields) around were you want to wield first,,a little back from the edge of the metal and move from one wielding spot to another, so it doesn't get to hot and use a wet rage as well,it takes time,

Happy New Year to all!
I have not forgotten to add any updates or pics. I just haven't been working on FeeBee since the last pics, I have been trying to make a FB pedal car in my spare time which I am happy to say am nearly finished.
I will then be back into finishing off the trolley stand the cars on and getting into removing the rust!! My neice has given me a date for her formal in 2015. I don't think I will be completed by then, but I will give it a go.
Just enrolled myself in a course to get certification in MIG (just want to make sure I am doing things right)
