SWAP - FB for EK Bonnet Mould

Post by Marko »

Hi Guys,

I have a reasonably good EK bonnet mould but need an FB one.
If anyone in WA has an FB bonnet mould they don't mind parting with please let me know - swap for the pictured one, cash or Kimberley currency (beer)
If it requires a re-chrome no probs, but not repairs - I have just gone through trying to repair 2 FB bonnet moulds with KD Chrome in Maddington and failed. - they were to far gone!!

any help is appreciated,

Cheers Mark

Hi Finny,
I guess the bolt holes line up to bolt it to the bonnet, however looking at the attached cross section I need the mould on the right hand side - to suit the moulds under my headlights, OR

I could keep the mould on the left and find some eyebrow moulds to suit - not preferred option

Oh Dear.

I have 2 and they are both the same as the one on the left side in your photo. Straight edge and goes to a point.
But I was sure it matched the side indicator sections, which were EK.

I'll have to go back and check my original photos, before I started pulling it apart. :? :?

Woops, please don't anyone think I was bagging KD Chrome - :?

Kerry the owner goes out of his way to help and did his best to repair my rusted bonnet moulds, as mentioned they were simply to far gone.

He went as far as driving 45mins from his home to workshop on Sunday to open up and give me my re chromed front bumpa back before driving back to Dongara.

Cheers and thanks!!
