Modified Brakes

Post by ek amigo »

I have just found out my brakes are about 90% front and 10% rear . I have a big nut duel circuit master cylinder ( HQ i think ) .HQ front disc's and calipers, a VH 40 booster and standard HR rear end .Is there something that has to be done to the rear circuit part of the master cylinder? or is it simply an adjustment to the rear brake shoes . any help would be much appreciated.

Don't know but I would Imagine they would be bigger My engineer said that seeing they are a proven system I wouldn't have to have a brake test

Like to recommend Shanon Boult at Hoppers Stoppers, he advised me that my setup should be alright and that fine tuning is the call of the day. Good friendly prompt reply for no gain to his company this time , but certainly go there in the future , good business really.

how do you have it set up? with the booster only working the front brakes? if so what I did was run drum brake wheel cylinders and shoes on the read instead of the disc brake type
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
