A bit more from today
Almost finished the sound deadner on the roof
Going to fill up the missing bits after I do the floor.
I'm over painting floors I tell ya.
Must be 3 coats of POR15 and the last today was black enamel. This FB will never rust in my lifetime.
Cheers

Thanks I will
Re: Wayne with a Sydney 1961 FB
My firewall sound deadener arrive today, can't wait to install it.
Cost $170 from John Warren Victoria we found it in the FE FC Forum
His mobile is 0411 316 137 email john@classicgloveboxes.com
Thought I'd put the floor mats in to settle them
so out in the sun to warm them up, they need a trim but I'm not complaining.
Boot came up a treat.
Installed the rubber flappy things under the bonnet to keep the dust out
And yes I know there EK but didn't have an option, I may change them later.
Made them myself from a template I brought off ebay and the rubber from good old Clark Rubber.
You might find this interesting, I spent a good part of a week cleaning and polishing the decoration that goes
on the sill covers, that was a shit of a job put as there's no repo avaiable it had to be done (Les at Rarespares note!)
I used a hobby knife to scrape out 50 years of dirt and grine and polished with Purple Stuff.
They look great.
Before
After
Thats all Kiddies
Cheers.

Re: Wayne with a Sydney 1961 FB
Rustydungers (Russell) Came around Saturday afternoon and put the taillights and bumpers on.....
While I watched and took piccies...
Don't you say a word Stewart....
Altho I put the new rubber dust protectors on the taillights...
Used these bolts and washers to do that..got em at bunnings!...
So I got the front one together.....
And it looks like this now.....
How good does the back look, the chrome just adds to the car...
I also put the dust protector on the rear beaver panel but didn't take pics ...sorry.
