ive got a sneaking suspicion that van doesnt have its original engine in it ..........
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

ek power output to date

Post by boostn62 »

put the pano on the dyno last week
with a mild tune on pump fuel got a nice easy 330rwhp 8)
then wacked in some methanol and a new chip and had it tuned   8)
all i can say that methanol is wild stuff hehe
got to 375rwhp but the copper head gasket moved near the rear water gallery so not bad considering was on 5cyl lol
so since then i had th engine O-ringed and better design gasket put in now all is good ready to go play at the gazza nationals

howdy all :D
just thought id share with ya all how i went over at gazzanationals calder park in march 08 8)
long story cut short im building a good motor so rather than rush building it i wacked in a $50 junker(all the good bits on it)
so of to melb for a big weekend hehe
swapped over on to methanol and went n had some fun  lots a fun hehe
run the old pano down the 1/4 mile
not knowing if it would even handle doing a run i went for it full steam lol
little wheel spin of i went and hold the f@ck on i must say
12.40 sec @180kmhr thats skinny retreads two truk batteries full trim full exhaust plus P.O.S engine lol
not bad considering it blew 1 litre of oil out in one run into the catch can lol
also to finish the weekend qualified top 50 in the burnouts and went on and won 6cyl class in burnouts also 2nd place top pano and also 2nd place top graphics 8) :D :D
haha and the engine is still running fine lol
gots some work being done on the ol pano soon will put up progress if any one interesred hehe
