Congrats Tim! What a find!
I was wondering earlier if you were going to keep it or flip it. But those pics tell me she's going to be a labour of love alright.

Sam I thought it was an EK standard so I was in heaven, then when I made contact with the guy he called it an FB. I finally got the plate details off him yesterday (picture me sitting there saying to myself "be an EK, be an EK, be an EK")
..............and then he said "FB/215/8-S ; Paint 253 6258 ; Trim 004/800" Talk about being let down and then put back up again in 8 characters or less
I found the car using Google Earth as I had no time to stop when I was driving through either so I have done well.
Regards
Tim

Great find Tim, whatever you end up doing to it will be great and it'll be another one saved. It's rarity is a bonus. Well done. I still have the rear seat bottom with red fleck here when ya want it too.
Tim. I saw Greg tonight at the pub and it seems to be all go for your new car. He seemed a little concerned that he may not be able to get it all the way back to your house yet, but he can keep it in the back yard for now, no worries. Bloody great, I say! I gave him the starter motor and some other electrical stuff as well. Thank you so much for the stuff I got from you on sunday. I tried to buy 2 rusty tasmans off my friend Froggy, but he wants them for his FC. Fair enough! Even though I now have, I think, every wheel you have ever owned, I still want to buy those 3 wheels from you in the future. How about that FB standard. It looks dry and honest. Someone has tried to spruce it up with side chrome years ago, but you will have that sorted out and the car will have it's dignity back. Living in the Blue Mountains as I have said, I can recall 2 black FB standards in all of my years on this eaSo good on you mate, It went to the right guy even though that sounds wierd because it is an FB

Tim

See you up there, mate.
Scotty.
