You can always run a piece of chain from the body to the diff somewhere to stop it from spitting out the springs when at full drop, Mick.
I did this to a lowered arsed bike id built in the 80's...it worked well.

 that was my thought, from memory years ago with another i had i got shorter shocks, it's only real an issue if it goes on a hoist
gotta use 2 jacks to jack it up one under the diff to get the wheel off the ground and another under the body to raise it for clearance and just watch that the spring still has weight on it, but i need 2 for the front aswell one to get it up a little to get the other under  gotta love low cars

What about a larger front wheel to lift it up to a level sill.
That way the arse won't have to go down any more and the front should have a lower tucked look mick.
There's plenty of room under them guards for a skinny 7" front runner huh

finally painted the rear section and put 15" rear wheels on so i could fit the rear caps, after sorting out the running issues ............ kinda   ya gotta love mystery engines thought it would be a stocker haveing small exhaust and cast iron 2 barrell manifold but did sound cammy (put that down to running bad) first clue was when heads were off 307 but bored out to 4"+40 bit excessive just for a rebuild :wtf: tryed ajusting rockers as you normally would ajust hydraulic lifters not happy, did this numerous times till a mate had a go then did comp test seen nothing on some cylinders so backed rockers off on those cylinders jumped straight up, so set rockers as you would with solid lifters runs perfect :) but real lumpy put noisyer exhaust sounds even better  and have to run the car on premium it just won't run on anything else, BUT there is a down side to all this it needs atleast a stall converter it won't idle in gear and is a dog under about 2500rpm a manifold and bigger carby definately wouldn't go astray either :ewink: but these will be the new owners worry not mine
