Re: Rebuilding of Old Timer (EK wagon)
Update for September...
Unrwapped some chrome that I have had progressively done over the years...

Got the bits all together

You need this kit to replace the rubbers that hold the bracket and globe in place

Finished piecing together the numberplate lights in the overriders

I made up some rubber dust covers for the rear beaver but forgot to take a phot of it all installed. Here's a setion for a tailight...

Thomas and I carefully installed the rear bar. We wrapped the outer sections in pillow slips and cover the tailgate setion in sheets so not to chip the paint.

Re: Rebuilding of Old Timer (EK wagon)
For the roof insulation I bought some 1/8 thick dynaliner which has sound and thermal properties and not too thick so it wont foul the headlining. The cheapest I could find was about $70 a box and I needed 3 boxes for the wagon.

Thomas and I installed it. It was very easy to peel off the paper and stick on.

Re: Rebuilding of Old Timer (EK wagon)
Then Daniel Mifsud from A Stitch n Time came over and re-installed the original headliner. The original headliner has been out of the wagon through the whole rebuild.

Daniel re-inforced all the edges with calico and to allow him to stretch it back into position.

He did an incredible job putting it back in. Not a job for the faint hearted.

I will have to post up a pic of the finished product. 100% stoked with the result given the vinyl is 50 years old. Daniel did such a good job it doesn't even look as though the headlining has ever come out.

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
