You're not wrong there!

I remember reading somewhere that you did a trip across the Nullarbor to W.A.?? (can't find old post)
We'd love to do that trip someday too :)

Cheers

Yep.

I drove to Wollongong and followed the coast all the way to Fremantle.

Coming back I came straight across via Kalgorlie, across to Port Augusta then turned left and popped in at Uluru.

Back south with a detour to Woomera then back to Port Augusta, then back to Sydney via Broken Hill and Manilla.

It was about 12500kms of troublefree 161 3speed powered motoring all up,next trip will be longer.

Wow thats some trip! Makes our year look like a Sunday drive :)

Many moons ago we attempted to drive to Cobber Pedy in our Fb.. We got as far as Woomera then we started to get scared the car may break down in the middle of nowhere if we go any further. I was paranoid of the bakerlite timing gear breaking back then (which mine did a few times before I got an Alloy one) .. Anyhow, we turned around at Woommera and headed trouble free the long way home around the coast.

So where will you head for your next big trip? I wouldn't mind heading up the back way to longreach..

Next trip will probably be north, along the coast, then across the top and back down the west coast.

Dunno where I would start to head back east....we will see. :)

Love those unplanned trips. Its great just pick a general area and see what happens when you get there :)

Sometimes when we go on a trip we don't really plan it, we just get to end of the driveway and say "Left or right" and go from there..
