But yeah, edging closer to motor time. I'm buying a crate motor with warrantee so I'll need to source a cheap shagged small block chev, or one of those plastic blocks if anyone knows of anything? Also need a turbo 700. Non electric

Pity, coz I was chatting to a guy the other day who had a few speedboats for water skiing. He recently threw out 2 small block chev engine blocks. One was a 4 bolt, 010 block with a steel crank

You're not wrong! Funnily enough got a chance to play in the latest Corolla Hybrid a few months ago. We reckoned the speedo was out as it hit 80 way too quick for a Coralla.... was fun though.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

haha, not too sure about that on Scotty!.. One rocket ship might be enough for now

Cheers searsy, Good to see ya not selling yours!..

I was going to do an update on the weekend but most of what we have been doing recently is just finicky type stuff. I.e. finishing off welding. Positioning things, etc etc. So there isn't much exciting stuff to take pics of! Though, it's getting closer each week, that's excitement in itself. We're both taking a week off at the end of the month (I think.... Did you get the week of poof?) so hopefully I'll have something more after that.

Cheers Tim

It was good to get so much stuff out of the way. We both took a week off & got stuck into it. Not much left to do on the floor now, steerings pretty much finished (just need to find a decent wheel & honey pot becuase the one I have is stuffed) front end is done minus the out rigger & air lines, the rear door latches are now gq patrol with the mech located inside the door rather than out, tubs are awesome - just need to weld & grin em' to finish. Dunno what's next. Probably the motor ?

No lowering Mj, I will probably just leave it standard height. Too much attention from the authorities otherwise.... I'm thinking something simmilar to Garrison grey (I think that's what it's called, Tim will be able to confirm?.. The darker shades on the car now. I think the lighter shades are seagull grey) with a white roof & visor. All pastel, no fancy pearls or sparkles. The trim will be a dark red something.. Maybe a mix of cloth & Vinyl
