Got a bit more done this morning , ran the fuel and brake lines , and a new battery cable from the boot to the starter.


I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

This weekend we stripped the dash out for conversion to right hook , and to properly weld the holes that dont need to be there any more.

and fitted the seat belts and cut some rear speakers into the parcel shelf. Got all the belts in , which I was pretty happy with , considering how fiddly that job can be........

You mean the seatbelts Gaz ? I bought them through AAP - 08 9495 1932 , yes they are blue , theres 13 colours available and they also have ones with the old style chrome buckles , got them a week after I ordered mine with plastic bucklesgazrat wrote:where did u get the belt from blacky as i need some r they blue

Got the throttle cable in last night , finished off the brake lines , finished manualising the power steering rack , modified the steering wheel adaptor to suit the HX column , and put the dynamat in .

Getting there , got the motor back in and all the ancillaries hooked up , car has been rewired and all the interior is back in , still got the LHD front carpet in as the new stuff hasn't turned up yet - we are making a new exhaust system tomorrow , need to bleed the brakes , fit the windscreen , wire up the fuel guage , change out the steering arms plus afe wother little bits and then its off for 3rd inspection on saturday

Your getting there. Its good to have a deadline. Even if it means working 24 hours a day to get it done.
