Re: Helenor
Thanks for the interest but there has been no progress since my last post.
Finding it a bit hard to get some time to get onto it, between work and trying to build a garage where I can put her to bed at night
Hopefully I'll be able to get back into it soon

Re: Helenor
Work on the car has been a bit slow due to getting some work done around the house have had fun building a deck, cubby house and in the middle of building a garage for the big kid
The deck
Cubby arrived in flat pack
Nearly there
Starting garage
Forming up slab for garage
Slab ready for construction
Hopefully will have the garage completed in a couple of weeks, then bring Helenor home and put her to bed

Re: Helenor
Even with all the work above going on we still managed to spend a day working on Helenor
Got to run in some brake lines, fit the seat belts and shim up the front end for the wheel alignment

Yeah funny story that, I had gone to Bunnings to pick up the Stumps, cement, bearers and joists and had loaded my ute up with 16 bags of concrete.DOLLER wrote:Flash looking stumps on the deck! What ever happened to using cement bricks!
Went inside and had to get one of the staff members to get a ladder to grab 16 cement stirrups from the top shelf, loaded it all into the ute, was just about to go and grab the bearers and got a phone call from my Brother-in-law. Was talking to him for about 20 minutes on the phone and as I was talking I was walking around as you do when your on a mobile and found myself standing in front of a pallet of these new Evo crete blocks made especially for installing decks close to the ground. After I hung up the phone I had a chat to one of the staff about them and decided to go with them so had to unload the 16 bags of cement and the stirrups and then load up 25 Evo Crete blocks, joists and decking. I think I was at Bunnings for about 3 hours
