Mmmmmmmm, look at those fins!
I think the hiring of the taxi for weddings was quite common in small country towns. My mother-in-laws' brother still lives in Waimati in NZ and is restoring the family Zephyr that was the towns taxi/bridal car for years.
Love the obligatory 'elbows-out-the-window' in the photo of the traffic too.

There heaps of caves along the Nullarbor - a couple of mates and I went into a few of them years ago.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

wonder if the second pic might have been a funeral you would think even back then it would be a little uncommon to see 2 tank fairlanes in a row driver of secon car seems to be wearing a suit as does the EK wagon driver
