I'm sorry to see all these "going to God" just because the owner is a MORON!!
My comment seems harsh & is...but to keep all these cars sitting outside just rusting away & the denying that they could go to be resurrected into something of use urks me no end!! :x :x :x
I can't get it?? Nor will I ever!!
If something I own is not being used and someone want's it, I usually give it away or junk it...just gave away my old Triton 4x4 ute because it was sitting there doing nothing...now it looks to be going back on the road with a very happy owner.
That's helps me as it was just sitting in the yard un-regersterd making the place look messy....now someone else can have a car that will be of use (even though it sucks fuel like a big six!!!).

Scotty.

I'll never forget your generosity Scotty when my HK was stolen, offering me your wifes old HQ so I had a car to get to work.
Your blood is worth bottling mate  .

wow steve i just read this post again and noticed that i said you got it for a good price.. Then i realised i didnt see the zero in there  . i thought it was 1275 not 12075.. surely you hit the '0' by accident..or you really really really wanted a cameo beige ute...

Im suprised that they are not for sale every time i have ever seen him he has had them all for sale except his matching set of 4 (fe fc fb ek) blue utes..

it was $1275 not $12075 so why the change? and if that is what you gave him for it the rest will rot away to nothing as most of us dont have that kind of money and now he'll think they are worth all that.

There is no Low Balling Rex. He is right on the ball when it comes to wheeling and dealing.
I met him about ten years ago. When I first went there amongst all the cars was a 33 Chev Roadster ute that he said was sold to a guy for $6500. The radio store mainline ute is cool also.
When I went through there last year it was still there and now not for sale.
Even though those cars are outside they are all pretty stuffed. Nobody is really missing out on anything. He wants to have one of every holden ute.
Martin told me what the cameo ute is like. How much do you think you can salvage?

Hi Dave, apologies on the delayed response, I have been away.

I got to see the Cameo Ute for the first time last night. I was pleased with the condition with the exception of the scotch Bright artistry on the exterior paint work :( However, I will do my best to save as much factory paint we can.

The structural rust is limited to the battery box area and the lower sway bar / radiator L/H tubing.

Here are some pics taken last night.

Thanks To Mark, Mini for his express delivery service :)
