here we go again premier prototype :roll: what you saw was a special build for the boss untill me and ALOT of other less vocal people see any verification from GM that's all it is :ewink: still a very special car :thumbsup:
there's been some interesting shows on pay tv recently about prototype cars seems they sold alot of them in the states

But honestly, I don't have enough knowledge to comment one way or another. As you say, whatever you call it (Golden Holden, Premier Prototype, Secretary's hush-hush bribe-mobile), it is still a very special car.

I think the angle of the photo and that its in b/w makes it stand out more. I read somewhere that the door skins on the FB were a hand-me-down from the FC, together with the boot lid, and thats where the feature originated from. Is this right? Actually that grill treatment is growing on me too!!!! :esurprised:

The parts book lists FE FC FB & EK as all having the same rear door outer panel - so yes you are correct. FB EK bootlids also fit onto FE FC so that is also true. The front door skin has a different part number - I presume because the quarter vent window section is different. But I do believe that the front door skins will otherwise interchange.

Front doors are way different......
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
