This one's a bit odd in that most clay models didn't have glass, though I can't see them building a car with different A pillar profiles like this one from steel

By the look of it it's a clay model, judging by the different profile A pillars from left to right.

Ahhh...didn't think of that. I guess it would be too...

Wouldn't it be cool if it was in steel though, and actually popped-up in some old cocky's barn...Got sumpthin under in tha ole sheerin-shed ya moit loik young fella-me-lad...

could also be blue, green silver does have a metalic look to the paint, i've seen clay models before and once painted etc are very lifelike

The clay models looked quite "real" when they were painted.

Plus it would be hard to drive with no interior (let alone no steering wheel)

And no diff, fuel tank, exhaust, front suspension...etc...etc...etc... Yep, I'm going with clay

Mind you, the EK's I've owned in the past had panels mostly made out of bog, so I guess they were pretty close to driving around in a clay model

heres an interesting article from motor mag, Dated Feb 1960, the top right pix was shot in Aug - 1959, & states its a prototype... it still has the indent on the top of doors, so does the illustration & Im pretty sure so does the wagon on left page????? zoom in to see

prototypes but the 48/215 and FJ are still around....

So is the Premier prototype. Saw it a couple of weeks ago in NSW (the Jackson's collection). It's a very, very interesting car.
