That is amazing. I was watching Gene Winfield paint it on rodders life the other day but didn't get to see the finished article.

Tried not to but the security were making it difficult.

Its a very nice car though, more people stopped & looked at it than almost everything else there.

So he flew out Gene Winfield to paint this one too? I can't believe the guy's in his 80's

Gene was bought out here by PPG, with two other very well known Americans to do demonstrations and seminars.
The Van was used to demonstrate custom painting, and the range of PPG Custom finishes

All three later appeared at Motor Ex, and joined a cruise through Sydney to the Rocks in a convoy of Hot Rods and Modified cars after the show closed

Yeh, I was riding around with Charlie in the roadster Sat. afternoon thinking about the priority list & then we saw the van.
The list hasnt really changed, just sped up. The van has to wait till Feb. to get TJ to finish off the side filler panels then will be on the go to hopefully be ready to go to Chopped in it.
