hi,
i'm changing my ek from manual (aussie 4 speed) to a trimatic. what do i need to do to the pedal box to change it to an auto? i know i need to lose one pedal (i got in efore the smartie's did ) do i need an actual ek auto brake pedal or is there something else i can use?

You got the first bit right
Then find an HK-T-G pedal and cut of the pad end and do the same to the EK brake pedal. Weld on to suit! Job done.

I just used an auto pedal in place of the other one .

if you can live with the small pedal just use the one that's there and the shonky way to get rid of the clutch pedal if you have carpet, the clutch pedal is on a spring so will stay to the floor if pushed there so push it to the floor and put the carpet over it
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
