Couldn’t sleep so decided to read over this start to finish again… I think my favourite page is #12?
Anyway, I wasn’t going to add pics until I’d finished what I came to do and headed back to Bendigo but I’m here now so may as well.
We finished off welding everything that is pictured today. It’s not yet been cleaned up. Tomorrow/today I’ll be making up a few more bits to extend that back section under where the rear seat starts to join the chassis to the sill. Besides that, the rear floor is rolled up ready to go in. Were just waiting on the new wheels so we can work how much more needs to be cut from the inner door. We’ll probably end up chopping a section out and lifting it up a few inches & installing a smaller lock mech. After that’s done the tubs will be rolled up and it’ll all be pieced together
Also, the 22's are gone!.. Sold them last week. This is what's coming in place of them, for now. Same rolling diameter on the rear Just before anyone says " I told you so"
These wheels
With these tyres 285/65 rear 205/70 front
what a shame nobodies gunna really see all that work, i love all that neat fab type work
no told you so's from me it was never about the rolling diameter that i didn't like and as long as yor happy that's all that matters no matter which wheels you use
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
Make sure you keep your build up photos for your engineer to see. There's some damn fine professsional workmanship gone into this build, I'm sure an engineer would be happy to inspect this one when the time comes. .

x2
Its great gettitng to see all the fab work being done and even better with the rim change But either way it will turn heads when finished (whether it had the wires or not) as the engineering going into it is top notch.
Time for an update on the original photoshopped pic?
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
Thanks everyone for the words. I think the new wheels will look grouse. Tho, I'm still keen on the wires in a 20. They're just cost close to the dark side of 3k for the ones I want. Less shipping from the states, less tyres ... Maybe later down the track I'll order some.
Not too sure on the colour now. I will stick with the red int but I'm now thinking of keeping the wheels that black colour. Painting the body Gun grey and the fb flash and roof black?...
Has anyone had black chroming work done to anything? Or know who does it in Vic?
