The utes nice but theres a couple of things I would have done differently if I built it - like smoothing the firewall completely and filling the holes in the EK stone tray .........
HQ Monaro , the wheels look ridiculous ..............
Split window Corvette , what the hell is the rear skirt thing ??????
Satin black Chevy pickup looks cool , theres one of those for sale over here - must resist , must resist
These opinions are mine , if you dont like them - tough . if you think i shouldnt voice them in case I hurt someones feelings - tough .
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Blacky, that Vette was built out of an '03 Corvetter wreck. Looked better in the flesh
You're right about the wheels. It's becoming a bit of a pissing contest as to who can have the biggest wheels. Same with blowers.........when you sit a blower on top of a tunnel ram (or on top of another blower ), you're obviously going for the "look at me" factor

look at all the work and he doesn't do some simple things like that ESPECIALLY the stone tray

yep how much better would they have looked at a correct proportion size, and i can't understand why they painted that car (especially silver) when it looked so brilliant in metal finish with all the body mods

i could live with that but can't get past the wheels, but know what he was going for

Did the cops question the open rubber on the 34 and 32 Hewey ? ,
Your in on all the good stuff around the place ,I sure would have like to be with that last gene winfeild run ..
I’m just an ass-ey bastard, I’m still not quite sure how I got the invite myself! And the cops were fine. They rocked up en masse with 4 or 5 cars (probably got a report about a bunch of modified cars and expected a bunch of street racers). Mario had a quick chat to them (dunno what he said), we grabbed a group photo in front of the bridge, and people dispersed on their own into the night. I was there for about 5-10 minutes after they turned up and didn’t see a single car get looked over, apart from an appreciative checking out. And this was despite some dubious parking going on too Everyone left happy, and no one did anything stupid.

When did the Monaro re-emerge?!?!?! I haven't seen it since the mid 90's!
Brian Willis’ Monaro was on the Street Machine stand, as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations. And yes he still owns it and it’s still in great condition. Brian and his wife were both lovely people, she rode in the EJ with us on the first leg because Brian had Charley Hutton with him. And yes driving through Sydney at night alongside the HK was pretty awesome!
