Taillight fittings

Post by EKSPCL »

When I got the EK she was partially disassembled.

Some of the parts I don't seem to have are the all the wires/plugs that go to the taillights, rear indicators and reverse lights.

The globes fit in from behind the lenses, but I can't find any pics in the manual, or on here, of the plug that goes in from the wiring side :?

I have found the fittings for my front indicators at Autobarn.

Hands up who can help :?:

check the thread in 'electrical' - 'indicators' by FBVAN; if EK fittings are same as FC, these are them :) . look at the Narva site under 'globe holders', I think you can get the metal-bodied globe holders to suit either single or dual filament globes
hope this helps, jack

Thanks Jack.
I found the front indicators thanks to your help on my other post.

I can't work out if any of the plugs on the Narva site will fit the taillights though.....

This is what I have........

If the fitting is one of the ones on the above Narva site, which one?
Forgive me if I'm not seeing something obvious :?

The rest of the fitting should be on your wiring harness.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

No, that's my problem.

The guy who I got the car off has cut the wiring off the loom from the dash

I have had to re-do the wiring from the dash.

I haven't ever seen the plugs to know what they should look like :?

I've found one brake light fitting and the two indicators. Thanks again Shane :)

Now I know what they look like.....

I need another brake/tail light fitting and the two reverse light fittings.

I'll put this to the Parts Wanted section now.

Thanks for the help 8)
