Steve,
Love the paint work, pink is not my colour, but that looks great. I am looking forward to seeing this one finished!

Oh thank you D. Very timely post from you.
Chrome should arrive in the shop today. Looks like a shinny weekend, weather permitting.

Had a bent pushrod when we pulled the rocker cover. I pulled the side plate off yesterday and lucky the piece of lifter didn't drop in the sump
Thanks,
Steve
Thanks,

Steve
May I be so bold as to enquire what all that chrome work cost - given that you appear to have at least two (if not three) sets of everything chromed?
Cheers, Steve D

Hi Steve
Add two more tail lights and eight door handles to the bunch, and that lot was $7,000
That equals one whole FB chrome.
2 complete taillights,
1 front and back complete bumpers,
3 badges,
4 hubcaps,
1 bonnet bar
1 bird,
2 eyebrows,
4 door handles + Buttons,
4 headlight surrounds
.... with the extras being
4 complete taillights,
4 door handles + Buttons
2 extra bonnet birds
2 EK Special badges.
