Oil Filter

Post by Dakam »

This may sound like a stupid question, is there different sizes of oil filters for red motors.
Dropped the oil for an oil change, about to change the filter and its this little piddly thing compared with the one I was given, Even the filter wrench was way too big for it.
Just asking the question.

Dave.
I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!

There are smaller ones for the red, as long as it screws on it should be ok.

What Trev said Dave, compare the two surfaces that mate upto the oil pump and you should be right. I used to run the smaller ones, just change them regularly.
