Day Of The Drags 26 & 27 March

Post by Mick »

this has been a top event with limited entry numbers so everybody usually gets plenty of runs

Sydney Dragway, NSW, March 26 & 27, 2011

Two day event at the world class Sydney Dragway featuring pre-1975 vehicles.
Old-school drag racing... for drag racers. Limited entry numbers each day to
ensure value for money and more than the usual number of passes.

Spectators can attend Saturday racing, Saturday evening entertainment,
Sunday racing or purchase a weekend pass.

Saturday follows the well established Day Of The Drags format with entries
open to vehicles running the quarter mile in 11 seconds or more and also
includes the 2nd annual Sidevalve Shootout.

Sunday will feature vehicles with elapsed times from 10.99 and faster with
E.T. grouped classes. Everything from wild hot rods, FEDs, slingshots,
HAMBsters, gassers and even nitro powered vehicles are invited to enter.

Saturday night entertainment at the track includes live rockabilly music,
vintage pin-up competition, twilight car show and children’s attractions.

More information and entry forms on the website
http://www.dayofthedrags.net

PRIMARY DRIVER ENTRY: $175.00 (Admits 1 X Primary Driver only for as many
runs as he/she wants all day. Includes 5 X 2-day tickets to distribute as

with no additional tickets).

SPECTATOR ENTRY (Available at Spectator Entrance): $20 per day, 2-Day

Note the 'if all goes well' clause. I need to put some miles on it, its only done about 100km so far.

I am supposed to be going away on my bike that weekend too.

yeah it has been a good event in the past (a little more strict on what comes in) and in the past it has only been a one day event and you pretty much had to know somebody to get in it hasn't been open to the general public, but the guy is stepping it up now that he's had a few to get things sorted

Dave you go play motorbikes leave me the keys to the pontiac  :D OHH and a few hundred bucks for fuel  i'll put the miles on it then go thrash it
