I bought a HT 350 GTS Monaro for $1700 in 1983 and then swapped it for a mint black FX ute - shoulda kept the pair of 'em :( :( :(
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thank you Jamie. first black EK I have owned :)

A pic of the chassis number would be good also!

I will add all your tags to the spread sheet today Jamie. Thanks for adding them to the ID plate list.

Did you buy your Black EK 215 from a tow truck driver?

Thanks,

Steve
Hi! steve yeh i did buy my black ek 215 from him , i bought all of cars that i just listed the id tags for off him over a period of about nine months the black one being the last one,yes he is a bit of a" rouge",i paid 5k with a trailer load of spares which included triple carb manifold for a grey and 2 x sets chrome rocker covers and side plates, bumpers, chrome strips ,plus heaps of other goodies, i sold some of the parts to recoupe some of my money back , its a bit rough around the edges but is all repairable and the rego had just been paid for when i got it , cheers! jamie

There used to be a body repairer in Sydney, that had a EH Ute and Van that used to look like that, before and after advert.

Looks pretty shiny, what polish are you using Steve.

Wayne and I have started freeing up the valves in some of the long term laid up cars.

The Black EK was last registered in 1974

Original factory head gasket.
