I've heard you can use an LC LJ Torana sump instead of an EH sump for putting red motor into FB-EK.
Is this true? I anyone can give me more details on this it would be muchly appreciated

I have tried but the rear section hit the cross member.

I actually swapped an LC Sump for an EH as the guy who built the motor said the Torrie sump won't fit.

I should have said it hits the steering link arm, the first step down on the EH sump is above where the torana one only has one big section that hits.

i roughly measure the deepest part of the drop in the sump on an EH and a torana sump, the EH drop is about 70 mill further back than the torana so the EH drop is much further back and someimes there is issues even with the EH sump if the mounts aren't in the correct spotbat53retro wrote:g,day the torana pan is further back so dont see how it can hit
