NZ EK Holden

Post by Giveitall »

Recently purchased this 1961 EK Holden from the South Island of New Zealand Transported it to the North Island with the intention of giving a bit of a spruce up. First EK Holden I have owned but already mad keen. These cars are pretty rare in NZ and I  am already looking to source parts from Oz to try and make her look as cool as some of the cars I have seen on this site.

PS I hope my photos appear!

Yeah, sometimes I get to look at the NZ Holden club magazine. I am often surprised at the number of quality early Holdens over there.

Thanks Devilrod, not to much, interior needs a little work. Wanting to get white walls and recently purchased wheel trims. The hub caps need a little work few rust spots and a couple with small holes. Needs new front flooring not sure if I should go carpet or rubber, haven't seen where to source rubber flooring from though? :?

Thanks space ace, the ID plate gives colour code 2438, which I haven't been able to spot on the colour chart on this site, but, Tuscany Yellow sounds good! It maybe some funny kiwi colour
