i'd say red

Dr, did you paint yours up like original (silver lion and little star things)
I've been wondering how it would be done lately.
My guess is:
Strip backside of badge
Mask up lion and stars (i have been thinking about the best way to do this-cutting out masking tape would take forever and still be inaccurate. My idea was to use petroleum jelly or something like that which forms a bit of a layer but can be removed easily. Apply with brush or toothpick to get all the little areas?)
Hit it with a transparent red whatever it may be.
Unmask (or remove vaseline assuming that would work) lion and stars, prep surface thoroughly and hit it all with silver.
Only problem i reckon the jelly would end up getting everywhere no matter how careful you are, and affect how the paint adheres.
Probably wouldn't work, but it could be worth a shot
