Re: matty martins mild custom wagon
hey guys
thanks for your patience, as you all know i had a little speed hump with the progress in the wagon 19months ago, named Ava...
well things are starting to look better for the wagon lately...
finally got the car back from rod & its starting, running & stopping a whole lot better than it used to... as i took it for a "little" test drive, from rods back to my place... about 60kms... there was a bit of a breeze without any windscreen & back windows fitted yet...
so its been sitting there for about 4 - 6 months, not really pleased with nothing happening to it but the old, "no time & no money" excuse...BORING...
anyway mid june i thought that it would be good to take the car to the all holden day, FINISHED...
especially after the wagons last appearance there in 2007, (i think stuart took a photo of it, no body else would have... me included), nobody would have recognized it...
well after a few hickups, (people letting me down) i realised that it want going to happen...
after all i am no JEDI, like MASTER SHIFU RATBOX... who speed & knowledge is endless...
so the car was half way through gettting trim ming done when all holden day came around, if only the carpet arrived when i was supposed to... a BIG thanks to retro, for putting me onto john dennis... he is a super nice guy, RELIABLE & also very good at what he does...
hes a trimmer...
before
after
next, the car is off to ralph moore for fitting the glass, windscreen, upper tailgate & crago sides...
was qouted $330.00, finger crossed it'll get done today...
thanks

'The best engine in the world is a vagina. It can be started with only one finger. It is self-lubricating. It takes any size piston. And it changes it's own oil every four weeks. It is a pity that the management system is so f*$king temperamental.'
