chroming

Post by mattymartin »

hey guys,

thanks for the HEADS UP, but no progress on he car lately...

i dropped off the new three core radiator & extractors to rods the other day, so i got to see the car, it been a while since I've seen it, so it was nice to get excited about it again...

I've told rod that, I'm in no hurry to get the car back but it would be good to have it driving on the roads for summer... so i cant imagine much will be happening between now & then...

but i did see ratbox's "BIL" there, MINUS fungus... stills cool though...

anyway i have a question that i have gotten great answers too (thanks basic green & scoobb), but its not helping me (cause i dont know what im talking about) so far, so I've taken a different approach...

pictures, they tell a thousand word right ?

when i sent them away to get rechromed, they came back like this, and i know im missing bits, but which bit im not sure... so if some one has a photo or two of what I'm missing that would be great...

It's the settings on your photobucket account, dig around and switch off thumbnails.

I see your problem now, the tail light/ brake light is missing the large plate that is secured in the middle with the 4 locking tabs. this is what holds the little bayonet fitting that your bulb clicks into.

You need to go back to the plater to see if he has them.
