Also that swage line around the windscreen is very 30,s.
It could be an end of model bitsa where they used parts of a new model and leftover bits of the previous year.
I also use to have a 37 Plymouth sedan like this. It had a 38 body with 37 front with 38 trims, now these parts wern't interchangeable normally and there were no signs of it being a cut n shut.
That was the one you had for a while Tim.

Tim , it is a 35 Plymouth, but definitely not a ute ,only other pic I can find with that window set up doesn't tell me anything about the car .

Have got that tag off this arvo , reads Plym mlbyln g5 , should be another one above that one with all the good stuff on it , but it is missing .

Sunny Rob - Wow you don't live in Wynnum do you

I bought a car just like the one in the photo you posted from a mad looking guy with long red hair about 15 years ago. It was also a 38 Plymouth which had a 37 front from factory. He said he bought it from some guy who also had a rare ex-English customline police car. He would not sell the customline, which is a shame, because I had one the same colour once.

This is great, I never saw a photo of it before in one piece. Today you could have driven it as 'rat'

Take care
