While we were in the Gippsland district in May, I came across this old ute sitting on the station platform at Rosedale (between Sale and Traralgon). The remainder of the garden furniture was a bit more conventional............

52 Vanguard , 4 cylinder wet sleeve motor, if its a long wheel base they ae hard to come buy, sold one in 2000, couldnt believe the offers i got for a complete unit

I didn't go out and buy it t was given to me, it was garaged in 1958 and stayed there till i pulled it out in 2000, apart from surface rust etc on the chrome it was pretty good, couldnt believe it!! cleaned the carby, plugs points chucked a new condensor in dropped a bit of oil down the bore, 5 beers later we cranked it using the crank handle a couple of times turned the key and the bloody thing roared to life after 22 years, then after seeing all the moving parts underneath and thought its either detonate or let some fool restorate, good for a couple of laughs over a frothy

Very unusual indeed. If you love cars, then this would be more appreciated by you being displayed in your garden. That old car can be a nice added attraction to your garden. You can use the back of the pick-up car as your sitting area and put a big umbrella on top to act like a gazebo.
