thanks guys 8)
finished putting the side trim on so i took it around the block.
i had the carby fixed (had the wrong metering block on it) and it now runs a lot better 8)
still waiting on the fender and then i can put the front on :mrgreen:
still hoping for end of the year 8)
i dropped the door locks of today to get changed so there the same
and then some cavity wax in the doors then i can put door trims on 8)

Its Fantastic to see a car that would normally be wrecked (due to all the rust in the body) put back on the road.

Some people belive that all cars have a personality and soul. Well, this car would be thanking you!

thanks Paul there was some rust but all gone now :D and as for soul i think we are now soul brothers :mrgreen:
started putting the tail lights in and now the brake lights are on all the time. if i pull on the brake peddle lights go out :roll:
the spring dose not pull it back far enough :evil: dose the spring just hook on the first lip on dash :roll:
i will get back out to the shed and try and nut it out

The spring attaches to the dash where the hand brake bolts on (there is a hole), if it doesn't pull the brake lever back it's probably just stretched. Trev 8) .

thanks Trev i did not no there was a hole i will check it out 8) 8)
i have ajusted the switch thing as far as it will go and slid the spring across to the hand brake. its of now but only just
i am now at lock up stage :D
