Speedo Error

Hi all,

Have changed my diff ratio in my early ute from its 3.89? over to a 3.23 so its not working as hard at highway speed (warm grey motor,three speed crashbox, 14"rims & 60 profile tyres), how can I bring my speedo back to give me a true reading
Its reading slow and because I live in NSW where revenue raising by the Highway Patrol and double demerits is on every public holiday I don't want to get nailed
I went with 3.23 after reading on this website the fors and againsts and as there a guys who have done the switch how did you fix the speedo error???

Wouldn't mind knowing myself, in the meantime go for a drive and get someone in another car to tell you where the speed limits are and take note and drive accordingly, thats what I'm doing at the moment, Trev .

Theres a few mobs around that can make a corrector box for fixing this problem - try Autocables or Castle Autos.

I know the aussie boxes and trimatic have different gears that go on the end of the speedo for the box to change speedo reading. Do the crash boxes?

Grey motor crashbox NO
RED motor crashbox YES
not sure if red crashbox speedo gear drive
will fit grey crashbox
