Re: FB wagon
sorry trev to burst yor bubble
but yor half a bumpstop suspension travel will soon be consumed by the kids and luggage
when you get a chance load it up and go for a drive just to check on tailshaft clearance, you don't want to find out when leaving for narranderra
i've had them with plenty of clearance but when driving and with some load over bumps etc it'll rub, in the convertable i had the carpet catch fire from the tailshaft constantly rubbing

Re: FB wagon
Maybe a set of coil over shocks might help this situation?? Even with two shock hangers in each side??
Just an old speedway blokes quick fix here...

I have about the same clearance in my EK (fixed after the Forbs nats) and it gets loaded up (boot full and the fam) and it handles it no probs, thanks for the concern Mick

Yeh it sucks but I still have to load it up for the trip to the Nats. I ended up taking out the 1.5 inch blocks altogether and it doesn't look too bad
Update on the engine, it runs good but it had a gudgeonish sound so it's going to the place that machined it all for me and I am paying them to pull it out strip it down and reassemble it so it will be perfect, I have already had it out 3 time for various problems and I am sick of $*#@ around with it so I'm opening up my wallet to make the problems go away
Taking it there Monday, booked in for a RWC on Thurs and rego on Fri, (hopefully

Hey Trev, just checked out your thread. Geez the wagons looking very cool
. Awesome job. It does look good low. Now a few questions for you.
1. HK/T/G rims?
2. The baby moons, do they just fit like a normal hub cap? I'm assuming if they fit HK rim they'd also fit HQ rim.
3. Rough price on the baby moons?
Cheers
Sam
