I'd be up for a Picnic for lunch, or find a park with a BBQ  .

Going away on the 10th, anything other than that, Trev 8) .

Thanks for the invite Kim.
Members receive a newsletter which has information regarding regular club runs as well as other club information that is not advertised here.

Sure do, but looking in here you'd think nothing happens, unlike the other states. Don't take this the wrong way, but it looks like nothing happens. There's no pics from runs or outings. Only the odd post telling us about the meetings. The Vic club should make some more use of what has to be one of the best ways to promote the club (well in my opinion anyway). Other states are. Might attract a few more members

The Vic club does lots of stuff, but,,, we discussed putting events, run reports, newsletter etc. on the site but we felt that if we did that then what was the attraction in joining the club?
The Victorian club owns this site and fully funds the upkeep with no cost whatsoever to the other FB/EK clubs and non members.
It puzzles me why more Victorian members don't access the site, so you might ask yourself why we keep the site running? I often ask myself this.
Other sites allow non members only partial access to their sites where we allow everyone access to the whole site. Don't get this the wrong way but, part of members fees go to ensuring that non members are able to use this site free of charge.

Well as we are all volunteers and have other interests outside of the club, families, businesses etc. We looked at bpay, direct debit etc. and agreed that if a cheque was sent directly to the membership secretary instead of the treasurer having to check the bank statement then advise the membership dude, it was a lot quicker and also creates a paper trail in case of problems checking on payments.
How hard is it to download an entry form, grab a postal note from the P.O and mail it off while there?
My apologies but, if you have time to go to the supermarket, petrol station etc. surely you have time to go to the P.O?
I run a business and still write cheques as well as do eft transactions.
Thanks for your comments tm 50
We would welcome you on board.

I know what being a volunteer is all about as i have been doing it for sporting clubs for 20 years , the best thing we did, was introduce an eftpos machine as it generated more funds in 3 months than one could imagine , a monthly statement which eliminated recipt books and any doubt that members had paid unfortunatley there are a lot like myself than need electronic payment needs as we dont get time as stated earlier de to work commitments and location
