I’ve got a canopy in Adelaide. It is a custom plywood, vinyl and aluminium construction, in need of minor resto. It doesn’t owe me much but it is a project, far away from you. You could always drive the ute over, bolt on, go home….

I had some interest in that ute and wondered where it ended up.

Good one Mick, a conopy though ?

From what i could tell not a bad put together car.

I may get to it one day, but better I finish the panel van and don't need a canopy then. It was something I thought should rescue. I paid $250 from memory and would let it go to a good home for same if someone wanted it. Mick first dibs, obviously, but don't know you'd get the bike in it.

thanks Clay i'm more looking for something that's close to being useable, especially if i have to travel a long way to get it (i know it's gunna be a stretch)
it is a good car though under the bonnet is a horror story, i staired into the engine bay today for a quite a while contemplating except for the cost and that it would ridiculously need to be re-engineered about putting a red 6 in it because NOTHING is easilly accessable on the engine i've had V8s that make this look completely stupid could access everything easilly

Supercharged V6 from memory ? Air cond , cruise etc ?? Would make for a busy engine bay I expect

the engine bay is f#cked i have no clue why anybody would put one of these engines in, the 2 308 converted cars i did had a mile of room could access everything quite easily one even had the battery in the original position, this thing the simplest thing like changing plugs is near impossible, rocker covers would need half the top end of the engine disassembled just to get at them
