FB front guard "eyebrow" mould

Post by Harv »

Sad story. Out of all the cars I own, the FB is the one that I have never hit. It's been in the driveway and shed for a while while I fiddle around with the meth monster changes. In a separate project, Number 1 Son's VL is also in the driveway. He drives it like a dodgem car, and whilst the panel gaps are OK the front subframe was shunted about 3/4" on one side. Figured we better straighten that before mounting the intercooler and getting ally piping made up. Off it went to the smash repair mob, with no brakes (Willwoods are fitted, but master is not lining up properly). Smash repairer did a great job. It came home on a tilt tray while I was at work. Son was in the car as it was winched off the truck, steering down my crooked driveway. Towie had a brain fart, disconnected the winch cable and gave it a gentle push back. Honest mistake, and he was a really nice bloke about the error. It rolled 10m down the driveway with Number One Son onboard, and kissed the FB. Stove in the plastics on the VL, loaded it back on the tilt tray for another go at repairing it. FB waited for the insurance process to be finalised, and is now having it's turn at smash repair.

Most of it is repairable. Guard, subframe and bumper should pull straight, and I have plenty of blinker lenses. One thing I do need though is a drivers front eyebrow mould (the one under the headlight) as circled in red above. Happy to pay for part and postage. Needs only be daily driver condition.

Cheers,

I am on site for the next week or so - if you haven't found one by the time i get there I will dig out the best one I have for you.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
