I heard Rare Spares was getting out of getting things manufactured on their own behalf and going to more of a retailer model. It is probable both suppliers are obtaining these from the same source. Some new manufacturer/fabricators have popped up in the last few years, whereas it used to be Rares or Ray Taylor. Rares were black coated, and Rays were red oxide colour. Old ray passed and the supply seemed to end. I used both, and found Rares to be better at the time, but that was 6 years ago at least. Both fell short in the A pillar bottom interface.

Thanks for the replies gents.....Think I'll go with these rear pans from Retro Rods in QLD, apparently they're made in-house.

I’m pretty sure retro rods on the sunny coast is who ended up buying all Ray Taylor’s old dies.
