EK wagon

Post by hewey »

Picked up this EK wagon a couple of weeks back from forum member Stanley. Great cruiser, though she needs some rust sorted out. 186, trimatic, disc brake front end. Lots of ideas, we'll see what happens

Sweet looking wagon Hewey, love the seats.

Dave.
I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!

That last shot is one for a calendar. Someone should put some more together and make one.
You can see how so many colours created take their names from nature. Nice shot nice car. Like the idea of the satin look on a classic daily driver. Mines Tartan Turquoise with Seacrest roof and was thinking of going the satin finish too. May even consider satin finish on the chrome work for a different look.

No real update, just been driving it and enjoying it. I'm doing a Tafe course at night to learn bodywork, before I start on the rust

A few weeks back we had an e-waste collection, so I took a couple of old TVs and a stereo along. Much better than it just going to landfill

The same day I picked up some old canvas tents from a friend. These suckers weigh a tonne, and 3 tents took up the entire load area with the back seat folded down.

And today took it down the coast, through the Royal National Park, and back home via Camden and Picton
