Re: Family Affair Ek Ute
Almost looks like two different colours between the spray booth and outside. Either way looks awesome

It's going to be a corker of a ute. Great job. Some unusual colouring choices too. Nice

The colour difference thing is similar to what I experienced when I painted my uterus, only Wedgewood blue. Out in the sun it looked a lot brighter.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Got stuck into the front end today , removed the bottom panel to straighten out year of being punished with a jack. While I was at it welded in some 100x8 flat so it has a good jack point for the next 60 years..
Do any of you fella's know if anyone does the the mounting bolts and crush tubes new ? I can go to the bolt shop but the old crush tunes are pretty worn so I'm not sure what the od should be ? Sent from my SM-A546E using Tapatalk

Yes. I meant painting the dash and the inner front guards as the unusual bits. Colour looks perfect for the car.Sneezy1211 wrote: Sat Aug 10, 2024 4:30 pmCottesloe cream brett its the original colour, the real yellow pics my brother took I think he had portrait mode on hahaBrett027 wrote:It's going to be a corker of a ute. Re: Family Affair Ek Ute
Hi all
I'm hoping for some guidance. I'm putting the hr front end back together and the rare spares Ball joint doesn't sit snugg in the upper control arm like the original? All the bolt holes line up though. Are the bolts enough to align the ball joint or is something amiss here ? Sent from my SM-A546E using Tapatalk

It’s been a bit over 3 years since I did mine. Seems like yesterday, but think I can remember?
