Decided to get a tailshaft made so that I can physically check alignment of gearbox and diff, then I can lock down the engine mounts and finish the gearbox mount.
Final drive have made my last two tailshafts so it was a no brainer to go back to them.
They provide an adapter at the diff end that eliminates the rubber donut that VE diffs use and gives you a Uni joint at both the diff and gearbox ends.
Not cheap but really great quality.

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon
Got into the workshop this weekend and after having the engine and gearbox in and out 3 times I finally got it to where I think it is closest that I can get it to the right angle and the tailshaft again as close as I can get it.
Welded the mounts in fully.
Relieved the chassis to be able to get the oil filter in and out.
Think the tailshaft is close or as good as I can get it

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon
Not as much as I really want Clay but I don't have the luxury of walking out the back door and going into my workshop anymore so I'm trying to get as much done as I can.
I'm still waiting on spindles from Stub Tech, once I have the front on wheels the Rev is going to Keith to get the last big bit done, the replacement of the upper firewall and dash.
Engine needs to be overhauled/refreshed soon and then all the rest mate.
