I am desperate for so info.
I have original ek speedo on the dash, run a Th400 gear box and shortened HZ Large salsbury dif with 3.36 crown wheel.
The speedo at this stage is reading to fast, at about 50 to 60 Ks speedo reads 50 mile and hour ( 80 k ).

Backing Plates for these seatbelts
Guys thanks for the quick replies.
Question thou ..the backing plates do they have to be welded in or backing plate bolted in sufficient ??? I have trawled through VSB14 regs and the ADRs 4 and 5 no mention about welding ???
What do you think.

Hi again to all.
The windscreen in my EK ute ( secondhand from another car ) shows evidence in the right light that windscreen washers had been fitted.
Can anyone tell me where they went, did they come from grill below the windscreen or were they fitted in the hood.

Gday to all.
Need some adive, I have to fit seatbelts to my EK ute as the engineer said it was a mandatory requirement if you upgrade the original motor by more than 20% Once the old grey but now the 308.
I have purchased retrctable belts but know there is no lower mounting point on the B piller ...

what do the codes mean
Might be a stupid question but these codes which one is a EK sedan.
I need to find out the heaviest weighted sedan in the EK range .
Has to be sedan not station wagon.

hey, dont go with the rare spares kit, rare parts is the way to go..as per blacky. I had no end of trouble with the seals on the front doors they are just way to thick. Could not even get close to closing the door.

Guys,
Ratrod I know the in's and outs of my ute better than I know my Mrs hehe.
I had to compromise and buy her a 06 Patrol just so she could have a car big enough to take the tribe and extras.

Rim and tyre size
The rims are speedy Malibu to suit a HZ stud pattern, rims are 16 inch and tyre size is 195/ 50 / R16
I agree they look mint ...very happy with them.

Not long I hope I have two weeks hols soon and hope to just about get it finished then ...yeah right who am i kidding, wife and kids come first then the old girl, have to pull my finger out and get it engineered and then licenced, just want to get out and cruise its killing me.
